Motegi is a complicated place, which means our experienced advice will be quite useful for anyone seeking to attend this remarkable event. Remember, even if you are not on our package, we have a team at the circuit and can help you with any issues.
Go with our MotoGP Team Experience if you can - this gives you the top experience of the event as a team guest and you have access to their shelter and lunch facilities. There is also a pretty good viewing area in a field open only to paddock customers.
For viewing, we recommend the Main "V" Grandstand, especially stands V4 and V5. The natural valley the tracks lies in provides excellent panoramic viewing (but you will want to bring binoculars!).
For value, we recommend the Z Grandstand on the infamous 90 degree corner. Here you will see the bikes in heavy downhill braking from the longest straight of the circuit! You are quite close to the action here, and there is a good TV view to catch the action beyond the corner.
Finally, Motegi is one of the few circuits where you can purchase a Paddock Pass (not to be confused with our Team Experience). If you are not going VIP, we strongly recommend this! Passes are valid for one day only, and you may buy a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday pass. As the Paddock gets very crowded on Sunday, we recommend considering Saturday or Friday pass. Alternatively, you can upgrade this experience with our "Team Experience" in either MotoGP, Moto2, and MotoGP, and our guides will show you around some of our partner teams' garages (and the service road for MotoGP).
