General Information

The Circuit de Catalunya is located 29km north of Barcelona, in Spain. It is easily accessible by car, train and three airports within an 80km radius of the circuit.

By rail (trains: www.renfe.es)
We recommend leaving the car behind and catching a train, especially if staying in Barcelona. The circuit is conveniently located within walking distance to Montmelo train station which is part of the Barcelona rail network (Number 2 line - green). During the race weekend a transfer will be available from the Montmelo train station to the Circuit de Catalunya. However you will likely be at the action quicker if you walk there by following a signposted route from the station. It should only take about 40 minutes and there will be thousands of fans to keep you company along the way.

By air (www.skyscanner.net for cheap flight options)
The nearest airports are Barcelona International Airport (known as El Prat de Llobregat, 55 km to the south), Sabadell (35km to the south-west and ideal for private flights) and Girona-Costa Brava (80km to the north-east). RyanAir flies Stansted to Girona; then take a train to Barcelona, trains take about 1:20. Coaches depart to Barcelona centre for all flights to Girona.

Jet2 flies Luton to Barcelona international. From here you can get a taxi or let us arrange your transfer with our chauffeured service that collects you out side of customs. Please let us know your flight details and we will make the arrangements.

By road
The circuit lies approximately half an hour away from Barcelona. From Sant Adria de Besos, continue along the B-10 until you find the C-58, and then the C-33. Take Exit 2 onto the C-17 towards Parets Vic Puigcerda, and a right onto the C-35 about 1.5km later. Follow the signs or the convoy of other fans to the track from here.

If you are coming by bike let us know - we will reserve secure garage parking for you at any of our packages. All our hotels feature secure parking for bikes and cars.

By coach
If you are staying with us; all our packages include coach transfers, which take you directly to privileged parking area, dropping you right at the track (behind the B & G stands -- choose these tickets if you don't want to walk!)

Sagales will be running an inexpensive return Barcelona-to-circuit service during race weekend, operating non-stop during the morning from a pick-up point in the city to the track and again in the afternoon from the track back to the city. Details and ticket sales information can be found at www.sagales.com/
