The absolute peak of motorsport drama will arrive at the Shanghai International Circuit from October 29th to 31st, 2027, as China hosts its first-ever WorldSBK event!
Stepping into the grandstands of this iconic, Hermann Tilke-designed venue will be an sensory overload for racing enthusiasts. The air will be thick with anticipation as the production-based World Superbike and World Supersport classes make their debut on the track, bringing a totally fresh dynamic to the series' grand finale. Fans can expect an unmatched racing atmosphere as the paddock connects the global stage with rapidly ascending domestic manufacturers, all culminating in a historic, high-octane weekend.
The action on the track promises pure adrenaline, with the world’s elite riders pushing their machines to the absolute limit on Shanghai's demanding layout. Because no WorldSBK team possesses historic data for this circuit, the stakes are elevated to an all-time high, effectively turning the inaugural event into the ultimate, unpredictable title decider. Spectators will be treated to breathtaking overtakes down the gargantuan back straight and precision riding through the signature, winding Turn 1 spiral. Off the track, the energy will be just as electric as local and traveling fans finally get to experience the open, interactive WorldSBK paddock culture firsthand, forging a new era for motorcycle racing in Asia.
