We have been coming to Portimao for many years now, as our most popular World SBK event. The 2021 (second) event here was as close to perfect as you get -- lovely location, laid back, superb hotels, great pubs and restaurants and spectacular racing!
This is definitely one of those events you want to plan a holiday around -- Portugal is a super-friendly country and the Algarve is the ideal place to relax and get away from it all, while still studded with culture and sights.
The event is so popular we have expanded to 3 packages: our well loved "Resort' package at am all-apartments 4* resort; the new "Beach Package' in a lovely 4* hotel in Portimao hear the beach (oddly enough); and our Deluxe package in s sublime boutique hotel in the the heart of Portimao. All are fully guided, 3 nights B&B with transfers and our Friday opening dinner with special guests.
The track is very modern and has brilliant viewing and action all around. You should make a point to walk around the circuit as much as you can. Team guests will have the opportunity to do this on the service road! There is a spectacular VIP Tower with some of the best views in MotoGP.
Fly into Faro airport and we can organise a private collection, or you can just take a taxi. It is feasible to fly to Lisbon as well, the drive down is pretty easy or you can take the train and again we can collect you.
